CricNinja — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
CricNinja ("the app") shows cricket scores, news and statistics. This page explains what data the app handles and why.
What we collect
- A random device identifier — generated on your device; used to store your favourites, notification preferences and alert subscriptions on our server. It is not linked to your name, phone number or any account (the app has no accounts).
- Push notification token — if you allow notifications, a delivery token is created and managed by OneSignal (our notification provider), so we can send you the match alerts you subscribed to.
- Basic device information — platform and app version, sent with requests so we can keep the app compatible and fix problems.
What we do NOT collect
- No name, email, phone number, contacts, location or photos.
- No account, no sign-in, no passwords.
- No selling or sharing of data with advertisers or data brokers.
Third-party services
OneSignal delivers push notifications (using Google Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android). Their handling of delivery data is described in the OneSignal privacy policy.
Data retention and deletion
Favourites and alert subscriptions live on our server keyed only by the random device identifier. Uninstalling the app orphans that identifier permanently. To have it removed sooner, email us the request.
Children
The app shows sports content suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
